If you have always dreamed of seeing the world, but are usually stuck in your bedroom doing homework or steering clear of parents, well now is your chance to get out. Okay, maybe not completely, but you can travel to a super cool virtual world where you can connect with people from all over the globe. Find out what it’s like in other parts of the world, and all while still in the safety of your room.
There are 30 different hotels found in Habbo Hotel, each of which represents a different country. You will find a hotel for the UK, Singapore, Mexico, Norway, the US, and 25 other amazing locations all over the world. Before you set out, you create your game avatar, which then allows you to go exploring in each of the hotels. Once there, you can chat to other users that are visiting.
Habbo Hotel tries to add a little realism to their chat system by allowing you to talk “up close and personal.” Ant people that are within a few tiles of you can be heard, with the surrounding area blurred out while you converse. This allows for fewer distractions as you try to get to know the new friend that you have just made.

While the chat feature plays a central role in the game, there is also the opportunity to play games, decorate your home, and visit places like shops, restaurants, and other public spaces. You will be happy to learn that the site is monitored around the clock so that creepy people and bullies are kept out. If you get a little tired of all the chatting going on, you can kill some time by playing some of the fun games. You might not be able to travel around the world, but with Habbo Hotel you can experience the virtual world in all its pixelated glory.
Habbo Hotel is free to play.
